Difference between Android Kitkat and Android Lollipop

Multitasking in Lollipop is much better than its previous version. It enables the user to get the quick access to Chrome cast. Lollipop has the feature of Prioritized apps which enables you to set the applications in priorities so that you may receive the notifications of important apps as set by you. It has improved performance with bug fixing. Battery consumption is also improved and thus battery time is improved. Lollipop has an advanced feature of Trusted Place which is not found in Kitkat. By adding trusted place, your phone would lose the security locks / patterns and passwords as those places are secure and thus you have no need to unlock it again and again.

Android Kitkat
