The origin of this word comes from Turkish Serbet, which is from Persian language and which in turn comes from “sharbat,” Arabic sharba, drink, from “shariba” to drink. The ingredients of this drink are pure Sherbet in the European and Asian countries is a fizzy precipitate, that contains sugar and other flavors. It contains and acidic side and a base where the acid may be tartaric, citric or malic acid, and the base may be sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, or a mixture of these. More than an item used for eating it is referred to as a drink. It is either sold on its own or along with other items as a decorator on the top.
